Anyone have any fresh ideas? I've been off my laptop for a while, so just left this problem. Came back, and it's still doing it.

I tried accessing Facebook through 'HideMyAss' on Firefox, and it works; but stops me because of cookies.

Also, I can access Hotmail, if I go through a direct link to my Outlook account instead.

Any ideas? Seems something's blocking me from accessing these sites, and redirecting me to these crap fake sites.

Euhm try inspecting the router. If you can give it a full reset.

Hi, Catchum. The error is most likely located in your host files, let me briefly explain to you, how to custom configure it.

1) Hit your windows button, and type this: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts

2) Right click the "Hosts" file, and open it up with notepad.
- An example, along with your localhost should appear.

3) Add one, that matches Facebook's IP and client host.
e.g: 173.252.100.16 facebook.com

If you have somewhat knowledge in nameservers, you know why it works.

Used MicrosoftFixIt which basically reset my host files.
