RE: [Question] cPanel help? #21
I tried going on through TOR, but that wont connect anymore, for some reason. Not sure if that's related.

Used 'HideMyAss' on Firefox. It works, but I can't login, because of cookies. It connects to Facebook though.

I just looked at my IP address... And it's changed.

I'm certain it was 172. etc, now it's 2.121. etc.

It's not wrong though... It's the right connection/company, and the location is actually closer than before.

Why has it randomly changed? Would it be something to do with the internet supplier?

I suspect someone has managed to poison your dns cache.

Why not configure your dns to use opendns like 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and see if that solves your problem.

Also, it could be related to your IP address. Up until very recently it was an "unallocated" range by IANA so there is a good chance that the IP is still on old bogon lists (ban lists), which can cause dns and misconfiguration errors. But i doubt that facebook would be using cpanel. Still, a possibility it is.

Change ur DNS. I can tell that this is not an official page. Look at those poorly cut out logo's.
Change ur DNS to 8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4 and try again, let us know.

On here?

If so, tried that. Didn't change anything. I'm using a Malware scanner, and it's picked up 4 threats so far (So much for AVG).

I used my housemates laptop earlier, and couldn't get access to the same sites... Now hers works perfectly.
