QR Code and FTID #1
I am in the middle of a weird situation. Having requested a return to do FTID, the company sent me two QR codes that I need to present to the Post Office. What do I do now? Is there a way to perform FTID under the current circumstances?

Hello,

Which carrier is this? You'll most likely be able to carry out the FTID. Just a slightly longer process.

Hi, it seems pretty difficult to do FTID if you go to the post office with the QR and they'll (likely) print the label for you and apply to the package right there.

What is the process here? Is there any way to manipulate the QR code and keep the information intact?

If you answer my above question then I could possibly help. Is it Royal Mail who is handling the return?

‘Snip’ the QR code and load it to

https://online-barcode-reader.inliteresearch.com/

This will generate a tracking code . Use this to generate your own barcode and paste it onto an existing RM label.

Thank you for this! Is there a guide how to do this? Would be useful to know more details about this method using just QR codes.

You can decode a qr code online, edit the informations keeping the same pattern and then encode it again into a new qr, but if there's any sort of checksum they'll see it's different
