Hey people, I just made my first program in python as you probably saw in another thread. I am VERY new with it, and I kinda ran out of ideas of what to do. I would like to know if you guys have any programs you think I should make. These would need to be VERY basic (like 40 lines or less). The program that I made was just something that said "Do you want to know date,time or both?" then you reply and it told you. So it is very basic. Please let me know in a reply to this thread!

Thats an example of a DoS script in Python. If you wanted you could try and make some type of stress tester in it. Also look up some exploits and try and perform them in python.

I have actually moved on from python, and am trying to learn Java now. I looked on google for that to see if they had any Java classes, but they didnt. :/

Do you know of any java places?

Look at www.thenewboston.com , bucky has made a great java tutorials there.
Also CBTNuggets has a very very good Java tutorials but they will cost you some money
