I needed some new monitors, so I decided to buy a $200 acer monitor, good shit, planned to double dip and have duels + refund. It wasn't long until I realized I fucked up.

Never change your story. Reps will get suspicious the second your story doesn't match or add up. Come up with a story, test the theory (if possible) with a smaller item and check if it works. Only then push the final SE.
