This depends.

When selling stuff, BTC would be the most preferred one for me, as you can not chargeback no matter what.

When buying, paypal would be the best (unless I know for certain that the dude is legit), because if he scams --> You had VPN already when you paid ---> Unauthorized claim --> Money back.
but then again, if I know the guy is legit for certain, I'd definitely pay with BTC

The only bad thing about BTC so far is that it's unstable, like everyone knows. Not fun having a lotta btc, going for a trip for a few weeks and seeing that you have like 100$ less cash than you used to.

everything has ups and downs, also just verify your account and get a business account, then there seller protection is improved.

Bitcoin is the best. But I prefer PayPal too sometimes
