Portforward without router access? #1
I don't have router access, it asks for a username and pw. Is it still possible to portforward somehow, without a VPN because I do not want to buy one.

How do you not have access to your router? The password should be on a sticker on the side of it somewhere. And to login the default is usually something like '192.168.0.1'. Just put it into your browser.

Because I'm currently at my student house.

Oh alright. All you should need is OpenVPN. It allows you to connect to any port with your own config. It's fairly straight forward.

Is it free?

Yup. Just make a config and connect to it, then you should be good.

OpenVPN works if you have the time to set it up (not really that bad) but PortMap.io is a real plug and play "vpn port forwarding" solution that uses OpenVPN.

Give it a shot.

You could local port forward with SSH, but I doubt that is what you want.
