How am I meant to file a police report if they cannot do anything about civil disputes between a person and a vendor ? They just point me towards trading standards

Explain that it's not a civil case but a criminal case as you are a victim of a possible fraud or robbery, it's the police responsibility to investigate such matter.

What is the context and what issues did you encounter?
Tried to EB AirPods and been told to file a police report continuously. In the US this can easily be done but in the UK the laws and stuff are much different. Tried to file a report online but it states that civil disputes cannot be submitted as a police report as it is nothing to do with the police therefore I am literally stuck. Amazon won’t budge without a PR and I cannot file a police report because it’s against policy

Do not fake it. Simply go into the police station and explain your position that Amazon just needs some material to move forward with the case. I'm sure they could work something out to accommodate you.

They always request a PR for amazon

Do you know if ordering from Amazon abroad other than Amazon.uk enables you to SE more continuously without showing consistency in your SE'es. Like does your details and orders sort of refresh when doing so. Hope it makes sense. The aim is to be able to use the same billing and personal info as without issue. Or is it better to switch for precaution as usual?

The easiest Amazon is Amazon.sa and Amazon.ae CAP team rarely triggers there, and yes you can use the same info such as address but that’s about it name, phone number and credit cards gets check with related accounts. Its just Amazon policy is getting a lot stronger in terms of DNR’s.
Makes sense. What does CPA and DNR stand for and what do they mean. If you don't mind.

DNR is delivered not received CAP is a special team that works in Amazon that basically handles all risky refunds.
Thanks for the explanation brother.
