Do you use a phone case?
Right now I use an Otterbox case for my M8. I also have a magnetic strip that I put on it for a dashboard mount in my car. Getting rid of Dot View (which hates magnets) was a pain.

I'm using a flip shell for my Moto G. Protects the screen far better than any other case I've used, and looks more professional.

I know some people hate cases, because they stop them from seeing the phone. Sometimes I hear about how their screen is cracked down the road.

For the past... four years or so I have always used otterbox with the exception of a lifeproof case on an iPhone. I found that otter box provides MUCH better protection for shock resistance. The water proof part is cool and all, but I still prefer Otterbox.

I have a Lunatik Tactical on my iPhone 5C and a Tank case on my iPhone 4s which I still carry so I can have most of my music with me at all times.

I have been using Otterbox's since the iPhone 3G came out. And it has saved my ass many, many times.
My most recent dumbass move was when my Galaxy S3 was left in my pants pockets and left to soak in the wash for 2 hours.
Yes it still works. And the Otterbox was not even the supposedly waterproof version, it was the next step down and is simply a rugged case.
