Photoshop seems to be the norm with most designers on this board.

For reasons unbeknownst to me, my work switched to Adobe Illustrator- of which their designs are extremely Impressive.

Those designs are very slick! I like them a lot! Keep going doing this, have you considered opening a thread for selling designs? You could make some money with these kind of designs.

I like the top one better, the bottom one feels a bit overdone, although the mouth is a neat idea.

Illustrator is often better for logos, as it outputs vector images which can be resized without any quality loss. With Photoshop, you start to see pixelation after resizing from small to large.

This makes perfect sense.

My work do In fact design logos for major retailers, so I'd say It may well be the reason they've switched to Illustrator. I've asked a few users on this board, all with mixed feedback. Thanks for finally clarifying the difference between the two (Photoshop and Illustrator).

Yeah, I have illustrator and keep meaning to switch but I'm trying to get over that bit of a learning curve. I've made a few simpler designs on there and can see the difference in quality right away .

Thank you, I appreciate it! I usually do them for free however as of right now I am charging (low and fair prices) to make some money for school. Once school is over or I have some downtime I'll go back to making them free.
