RE: Paypal dispute help #2
It isn't written anywhere in their user agreement that an account has to be of certain age. Just that it's within good-standing. This is just from what I remember (for US), might not be accurate. You can find the terms here: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full.

There are no hard and fast rules on the maturity of the account.

Obviously, the older the account (with a few legit purchases), the better It stands from PayPal's viewpoint.

You're very welcome.

Do note, that you must open a dispute within 180 days of when you made the purchase.

And after 14 days if DNA. If one tries to DNA within 14 days of a purchase a physical product, paypal will temporarily block the dispute from going through.

I don't see this anywhere In their terms.

Do you have a link stating the above?

I will attempt to find one, but I learnt that because I tried to raise a dispute within 5 days of my order. Didn't go through into the system until I tried it again in a week or 2.

No problem at all.

I'll also perform an In depth search Into PayPal's terms to try and locate It.

I wasn't able to find anything about 2 weeks either when I quickly reviewed the terms after seeing your post last night, but I do remember when I was researching Paypal more thoroughly that they ask of you to wait (I believe it was) at least a week before opening a dispute/ escalating to claim (forget which).

Here's some more info I just found:

https://www.paypal.com/gf/smarthelp/arti...n.-faq1344
Quote:Wait at least 3 days from the transaction date to give your seller enough time to ship the item [to open a dispute].

https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/FAQ957
Quote:Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
