I've got an issue with Amazon PR. I provided them the Police Report with the correct number. Amazon responded to me that they can't validate the PR, because they can't call them, even tho the shown number is the real one. What do I do?

it's a common practice by amz, as they will continue to play for time, there's no point in wasting it, just charge back them

There is nothing you can do except contacting Amazon every day and ask them to verify it. This is just the process because police stations are busy and their records department don't always pick up calls.


So either wait it out or return the item. You can also contact the station and see if one of the officer will make time to talk to them (then ask amz to call at that time).

Anyone else have had this problem?

I literally contacted one rep after another for hours, finally one verified it after I explained how the reps before would just end the chat on me and that I had been trying for weeks. Seemed to work eventually.

They want to make it seem impossible, it isn’t! Push the reps to their limits.
