just do it if you feel really confident on long distance relationships, its hard and emotional exhaustive but if you're up to it, go ahead.

My opinion about online dating sites is very mixed. Since there are few people in our city and everyone knows each other at least a little. But when I moved [Link Redacted] helped me to find new friends and a girlfriend. So I can confidently say that they are worth it. Worth at least something to try. So if you're bored, you can try to find someone there.

...well I've done this dance and have a fair bit of experience of most of them. Most tend to be a refuge for liars, fantasists and you'll see more filters than they have in Sydney Aquarium.
Rule number 1, insist on a videochat / photos taken within the last 30 days with anyone you engage with and insist on seeing them, it will save you a whole lot of energy and wasted effort. Women are massive liars in this regard and their photos often seem to be 10kg and 10 years away from reality whereas guys tend to lie more about their circumstances.
Believe me you won't be able to contain your disappointment when the hot girl you chatted with for days / weeks leaving you full of excitement turns out to look nothing like their online persona.
Tinder is nothing but a refuge for perverts, adulterers, bored taxi drivers, scammers and attention seekers with plenty of smoke and mirrors to negotiate, that said I've had my fair share of success. I've plenty of stories of my encounters, some amusing, some awkward and some horrific but my parting advice is stay alert, don't entertain liars and have fun.
