Hello again all,

Round 2 trying to get a GPU for the honest price of nothing. This time I actually managed to order one online.

Has anyone had success with New Egg lately?
I was thinking missing item or dry ice but if there's something even easier, please do share.

Newegg Is difficult to deal with at the best of times, even with straightforward claims. so be prepared for their arrogance and noncompliance.

Sorry about posting in the wrong place.

Not sure of the weight but HEAVY, I'm sure. When I say missing I was thinking if claiming I got a rock but I'm starting to think that doesn't work too well.

I've never tried doing that I just see so many claims of such things happening in review sections across a few websites I am convinced at least a few of them are full of it.

I'm happy to hear I managed to order from a difficult company lol hopefully something works out.

Also, not sure if this changes anything at all but I used PayPal

When I say missing I was thinking if claiming I got a rock but I'm starting to think that doesn't work too well.

There are a number of methods available.

The wrong Item received, obviously the DNA, (package compatibility) the sealed box method and boxing - If you can get your hands on dry Ice.

Delivered today. Signature was REQUIRED but was left on the porch of an empty house.

Excellent, hit the DNA.

If the driver signed the consignment himself, they'll try and dispute It, but It doesn't change the fact that "you" didn't sign.

Happened the same to me a month ago, they'll ask for the PR and everything while ignoring your request to see the signature that was supposedly required by themselves, keep pushing on this fact for the win (do file the PR if needed though, or they'll shield behind that)

I'm not shy about giving PRs when they ask. Am I wrong in my feeling it's a tactic to scare off bad actors?

I've also "bypassed" a requested PR. An area I lived in didn't do reports for items never in your possession. Had to tell that to a few reps but it was eventually processed.
