Obfuscation challenge #1
Write a hello world program that's as obfuscated as physically possible but still somewhat efficient. The only guidelines are 1) don't use Brainfuck and 2) brownie points for defying convention. I can't really score this, so think of it as a qualitative challenge.

Ok, go.

Edit: @omega12 suggested a no prebuilt tools rule, which makes sense. Code your mess by hand Tongue

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Oh boy, it's time for some VB.Net Compiler abuse

Did someone say 300 lines of #ifdef fuckery?

My VB solution, could easily crypt the strings etc, may do something more complicated but for now this is what I'm going with:
Code:
LateBinding.LateCall(Nothing, Type.GetType("System.Console"), "WriteLine", new string() {"Hello, World!"}, Nothing, Nothing)

Even better... write the whole program like a java programmer would

I'm tempted to encapsulate this just to fuck with people further.

That was one of my CS140 assignments (and I turned it in just like that)

You've known me long enough to know that I don't care what people think. I'm results oriented.
