The lighter the better, hence claim only the glasses were missing.
If they request to send back the case, box the return.
I claimed empty case, the agent asked me if I received the micro bag, I said no, I was then asked to send a photo of the empty box, delivery note and photo ID with signature, I told them I had misplaced my drivers license and asked if a photo of my signature on a piece of paper would suffice, the agent said this would be fine. The agent told me it's been passed on to the relevant department and I should receive an update in 24 hours.

They've opened an Internal Investigation.
Please reply the moment they respond.
Is this normal procedure or should i expect them to put some obstacles in my way?

It's a commonality with many companies under similar circumstances.
I received an email from them saying 'The card you used to place the order has been accepted and your refund is being processed. Once the refund has been confirmed, we will send you an email with further instructions.'
At the bottom of the email it says the amount but it's £40 less than what I paid, so I assume they have taken this off for the price of the case?

Good to read.
You have It In writing, so they cannot deny the fact that the refund has been approved.

You will only be refunded for the Item you've claimed was missing.
If i were to try and box the case would I just return them an empty box that looks like it has been tampered with?
