So i have managed to get an nvidia shield RMA but they are requesting that I send back my shield before they send a replacement, does anybody know a way around this?
The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

Yep. Box them.
I've just boxed Bose, as I managed to SE my way around them only wanting the 'buds' back, which weigh pretty much nothing. A simple hole in the side of the box and sellotape on it may give Bose the indication that between sending them off and them receiving it, that somebody has put a hole in the box, stole the buds and sellotaped it up.
Do the same for this.
Tell them you've sent back JUST the base unit, as that's the faulty bit. I hear it weighs like 100g or so.
