My opinions on the memo

So, I'm excited to watch all these CNN reporters eat their words. Over the last couple days everybody had said it was material evidence of trump/russia, but it turns out it's got a much stronger correlation to [fbi/doj/fgps]/clinton.
The document is basically an apology for wiretaps targeting the Trump campaign (indirectly), because their source was materially tied to the dossier. In the memo they detail why their source should not have been considered a reliable source, and then at the very end of the document they say had they taken that one fact into account before hand, they could have never issued the FISA warrants.

The interesting points are where they line out the names of people who gave the authorizations (there were many), among them are Comey and McCabe. It seems that these people knew about the conflicts of interest in the source, as well as the far more important piece of information, the source and his lover's "insurance policy" against a Trump presidency.

Let me know your opinions, this is most certainly open for debate.

Can you clarify what you mean? I've seen the term "corruption" thrown about on both sides, so it's ambiguous. You don't have to state your views, but do you have anything specific that makes the conviction of corruption to you?

The 'dossier' compiled by Christopher Steele (Steele dossier) on behalf of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign formed an essential part of the Carter Page FISA application. Steele was a longtime FBI source who was paid over $160,000 by the DNC and Clinton campaign, via the law firm Perkins Coie and research firm Fusion GPS, to obtain derogatory information on Donald Trump's ties to Russia.

Money buys FBI informants, apparently. Not the first time Steele had acted dishonorably, according to the document.

Fuck. This is damming. I sincerely hope that some justice comes of this, but it most likely wont. I however, AM NOT going to let this go.

I can't say I'm surprised. There is not a single person in government that I think should be trusted. Not one. What's there even left to do?
