So ive DNA's a couple times years ago so my account is pretty aged since I use it regularly for normal purchases.

Ive pre ordered an item worth £2.3k (1.3kg) and It should arrive on monday, but it says I will require a OTP for when it arrives, how do I go about avoiding this to do a DNA? or should I use a different method?

can I ignore the knocking and hope they leave it on the door, can I tell them to leave it in a safe space behind the bins beforehand maybe?

in my country and city if product cost is high then they must ask for otp with low cost product they drop the product without ask otp so there is no way to bypass and well as i know OTP no matter here ...so well wait for other people response

It's not an easy process, and will require you to put In the hard work to circumvent the OTP.

The driver will not leave the package unattended.

The delivery will be rescheduled.

That will make you responsible for loss of goods during shipment.

Your safest option is to return the item and order it from another shop abroad
I've tested firsthand, that while AMZ from my own country required an OTP, the same item from the german version of the site did not, so that's where I ordered it from

Its a sony camera body, ive had OTP's avoided before but they were with other couriers not amazon themselves. Its sold out everywhere else so I'd rather stick w amazon uk.

Then why not apply the same/similar OTP circumvention to Amazon's carrier?

Because the way I avoided them was hoping that the couriers didnt hesitate to leave the parcel at the door if you didn’t answer, but from my experiences w amazon before, they don’t deliver the parcel without the otp so I’m lost on what I should do.

Is the Item packaged with a factory seal and/or wrapped In clear film?

Also, can It be viewed externally without opening the box?

When you open the the amazon box, you get the main box with no factory seal or clingfilm, just box itself, and the camera and everything else is in these little white bags but nothing is sealed at all.
