Going to try my first SE for North Face as others have had success I believe.

I do not have much experience so I would like to lay out my steps and please could you advise what I should/should not do. Thanks. I am planning on doing a missing item SE.

Place order for a jacket and a rucksack. I will claim only the rucksack came. The weight of the jacket is around 680g and the weight of the rucksack is around 790g. Price of jacket is £220 and rucksack is £70.

Once it comes I email them saying only the rucksack has arrived.

Does this method seem ok?

And would it possible to do more than 1 item or would that be too risky?

Thanks in advance.

Seems like a good time to go for it. I would go for 3 items, make it worth it. Keep us posted!

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

680 grams Is too heavy for a partial.

If they open an Investigation and deduct the weight of the missing Item from the total weight of the consignment, and then add It to the dispatched & received weights, It will conclude that the Item was delivered. On the other hand, given It's the busy time of year with the Influx of orders and claims, they may simply Issue a refund.

Good luck.

Is there any other method you would recommend?

As with the DNA, the "wrong Item received", Is considered a universal method that works with the majority of companies.

Wouldn't ''wrong item received'' prompt you to send it back in order to get a refund?

Precisely what the method entails.

Purchase a stock Item (that's significantly cheaper) from the same company using a different account, and preferably delivered to another address. If/when they scan the return, they'll see It's part of their Inventory and assume they've dispatched the wrong Item. A refund/replacement Is Issued for the ordered Item thereafter.

Any advice on dealing with a company that sends you a CCTV photo of them packing your item, saying they dispatched the correct items ? No timestamp etc also.

Also can you check your DMs please?
