they have confirmed they are backchecking weight (at least with yodel) as i have sent pictures of the empty box a couple weeks ago and their ‘investigation’ has been taking a couple weeks now, so i emailed them to ask why and they stated “the dispatch weight shows the parcel as ‘xx’kg when it was shipped, and Yodel showed the same weight when it was received by them”. Honestly not even sure how to proceed now, might just have to do a chargeback at this point. would advice against doing EB for now
