New account, orders keep getting cancelled. #1
Trying to make an account for big box retailers. My card has vcc option. Not sure error I’m making. Keep having my orders cancelled. Do they do need a exact address phone number and name match? Also is their a certain amount when AVS kicks in. Orders were around 50-100$ . Not sure what I missing.

Good luck. I've never been able to bypass the automated cancelling.

There's a mismatch of Information with your online account and the payment method.

Been back tracking I think I might of figured it out for my CC. I did a test run one retailer the order was sent out. Name matched, street house number matched, street name was different, city/zip code matched and phone number matched. I found out further that the shipping address for any CC is the billing. @mothered do you know does AVS include phone numbers and names?
I tried to do small Bloomingdales order. They cancelled the order. It’s was for 100$. Got email from them saying they cancelled the order due to unable to verify. Then stated 1800 number to their consumer protection to resolve the issue. Is the account locked? Should I move on? Still have the pending charge. Trying to do some small orders on this new account.
I just changed the address and the phone number on the card to reflect the address that I am shipping to. Should I wait for the pending charge to fall off to retry again? or contact them? or make a new account? The name variation is different from my card do they check that?

That shouldn't be an issue. I NEVER match online details with my bank details. For example at the checkout where it asks 'Cardholder name, expiry date, CVV' i just put my onlines name ''fake account'' instead of what i have in bank, always have worked, amazon, asos, you name it. Same applies to billing address. The issue should be something else.

You're pretty fortunate not to have Issues.

During my testing periods with different credentials, for security purposes, companies/merchants either decline transactions or place funds In a pre-auth state pending account verification. Countless members have also experienced similar events.

I’m trying out variations branding of the same company with their vcc option (for example one is for travel and the other one is cash back but same company) I notice that one doesn’t have to be exact while the other one I am still testing out with an another method because when I use the vcc option it get the account locked. While using another merchant it will work fine with a slight changes in address. I am not sure if amount of the order, name variation, card branding or something I am missing? I am trying to replicate my first order. @mothered @justoutsider
