was trying to do an DNA they ship with DPD

I translated it from german to english what are your thoughts?

When the goods are shipped to you as a consumer, the risk of loss or damage to the goods only passes to you as soon as the goods are delivered to you or to a third party designated by you and various by the carrier. The handover is the same if you are in default with the acceptance. If goods are delivered with obvious damage to the packaging or the contents, we would like to ask you to complain about the damage immediately to the forwarder/freight service, to refuse acceptance if necessary and to contact us as soon as possible so that we can protect our rights vis-à-vis the forwarder/freight service. Please also inform us of hidden defects after they have been discovered so that we can adhere to our upstream supplier. Your warranty rights as our customer remain unaffected, of course.

The liability falls on you the moment the goods are delivered.

As such, you'd need to claim the package was damaged when received.
