I am working on a project that would deal with students enrolling on courses. I have integrated woocommerce and payment system but the problem is my client wants a multi step form where they would submit data. I created one using contact form 7 plugin but problem is the data is stored or mailed even without reaching to cart and without payment. He just wants it after successful payment. I have added a redirection where on valid submission it will redirect to course selection page. In the meanwhile the data is already sent to the mail. So, I reversed the process. Students at first have to select and pay for courses then on successful payment he/she will be redirected to that form. But I think this is not a good way to do it. I thought about 2 solutions but don't know ho to deal with it.

First is, the form data would remain in the session but only be available on mail after payment and the second move can be, implementing a multi step registration form (a simple one is already there in woocommerce) which I don't think would be easy to implement. Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
