I agree. If what I'm trying to do gets investigated and it gets resorted to a police report, I drop the case, learn from my mistakes, and move on.

it honestly depends on the worth of the item and if he signed it or not police wont do anything its not worth their time its just company protocol if he didnt sign the package it he should be on the good if not just explain he cant get it because its far and its very expensive to travel and keep pressing if it comes to worse send a corrupt file and hope for the best
