Perhaps because most of the people today will overlook the anonymity aspect when it comes to creating an anonymous Twitter account. Just because you don't verify the account with your real phone number and enter false information, doesn't mean that you are anonymous. They still log your IP address, device type, language, geographic location etc. However, they are generally recognized as one of the better platforms in terms of privacy.
