NSA Discloses Severe Vulnerability in Windows OS 01-17-2020, 12:23 AM

The NSA has released an official, public statement urging everyone to update their Windows devices as soon as possible. A vulnerability has been identified (CVE-2020-0601) in the Windows that can allows hackers to spoof trusted identities (as software companies, service providers, etc) in Windows' public key infrastructure (PKI) to gain the user's trust to potentially exploit them.
This vulnerability is believed to be present in over 900 million computers when the vulnerability was discovered. The NSA and US Department of Defense urges everyone on Windows 10 to update their computer IMMEDIATELY, as a fix for the exploit has already been released. Again, failing to update now will put your machine at extreme risk in the future.
• To update, click the windows logo in the bottom left, click the cog, go to "update and security" and press "check for updates."
