RE: NASA Software #2
That's pretty cool, but what would people from sinister.li need with half of this stuff ya know?

I guess testing random things could be cool.

Awfully nice of them to release it publicly.

Many are students, or Business majors (like myself). Some of the software could be of use.

That's pretty awesome, open source is truly the future. Granted, they still have lots of proprietary software, but that's probably for the best.

As a cool (but currently kind of impractical) bonus, here's all the assembly code that was written by hand then manually entered using core rope memory for the Apollo 11 command and lunar modules and here is a virtual Apollo Guidance Computer. As well, here's a picture of Apollo lead software engineer Margaret Hamilton standing next to all of that handwritten code.

You never know what people can come up with when given some code to work with. Plus, NASA spends hundreds of thousands - probably even millions of dollars just testing code before anything gets launched, so it's easily the most robust and stable code on the planet.

I'm so sorry.

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Yeah, you're right...People could take snippet's of code from these programs and make masterpiece(s) I presume, Thank you for your release, and explaining what people would use it effectively for.

You're right, so far the major programs i've seen on here make you be a U.S "government personell" to request access to database management type softwares, or other analytical programs which sucks, but I guess you could always "lie" Evil
