Hi, i have 2 different Dvd's of back track 5 32bit &64...
i was using mysql server just fine..
Now i want to try Eviltwin on the same labtop and the same 2Dvd's,But when I type "mysql -u root -p" it say ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@localhost (using password: Yes)
The configuratoin can't be save on Dvd Right?!!!!
anyone can tell me what happened and what to do?

Yes, It's the Default one,I was type just Root..
and as i was said it's I run it from dvd so I didn't modify anything!!

Apparently the Problem isn't in the Password,because i didn't change it before,then is it matter if i did,(When im using the linux from Dvd and i was use it before and worked fine) ?
* maybe i can't enter the password for some reason,
Cause when i try to type any thing after enter password:
What ever i type the white rectangle of writing are not moving..i forgot isn't it suppose to move when i type the password?

Okay, first of all you are passing a password to the MySQL client program. Either you have something like an .ini file (like .mysql.cnf in your $HOME) or you're passing a password through an environment variable.

If I where you I'd restart MySQL with the --skip-grant-tables so you can login and then change the password using the MySQL client. For details see https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/...sions.html
