Okay Here is the Simply problem i have ,

i have develop a program which include databases ,

i used MySQL for it and , this is the problem i have !

lets think the database on root/programming file/MySQL/sql server/data/

so each time i install my software on other computer i should install MySQL Server on that Computer and place the database folder on the Path

lets think if my software size is 10 mb
and damn MySQL Server 4.1 size is 38 mb

is there any way to make this simple ?

like using Notepad for database ?

"Using notepad for a database" doesn't make any sense, Notepad doesn't provide any services/API that would allow it to be used like that, you apparently mean that you want to store the data in a plain-text file, in which case the answer is: Don't do it, it will turn into a mess really fast.

If you don't need specifically MySQL, but can use other database engines, try using http://www.sqlite.org A lot of programs use it, even Firefox for example.

No it doesn't, just read the website...
It's a self-contained library that becomes part of your program and the whole database is stored in a single file. No need for any server, yet you can work with it like with one from your code.

It's also quite small, so you can distribute it easily.
