My first ftid, success:) 04-25-2024, 06:57 PM

I tried for the first time Ftid, 3 small bike products, i just used Paint to fake my name and address, receiver name (i just put the name of another business in the same building so the address is correct while not being the same door lol), and just changed a number under the three barcodes (but i didn’t touch the barcodes, this is what the clerk at the post office will scan). I used an old amazon little cardboard letter, with other cardboards inside to make the same weight. After two weeks i wrote them an they asked to wait, and after a week i wrote again and they said they will check why they haven’t still processed the return and the day after they just refunded me.
I must say that was 60€ worth products and this shop has a good customer service, so this has helped for shure.

good stuff, next time you shouldn't deliver it in the same building because if they have a relationship with the other business they could've just handed them the package and you would've been fucked

I have thought that too, but with a fake name and fake tracking number (if they don’t scan the barcode and go check the real number, and investigate on my real name) i thought it should not be easy to track me, and the different business name was indicated clearly. I thought that it was more risky to send it to a different location, in case of an investigation, or the courier/gps noticing he is far from the real destination.

Just a tip, I suppose:
You almost never need to actually wait 2 weeks before contacting a company after the package is delivered.
Some companies do have that as a policy but not all of them do, and you can contact them literally on the same day (or the following) as when it was delivered. The worst they'll tell you is that you need to wait an x amount of time, and with that you'll know for sure how long you should wait before contacting them again. You lose absolutely nothing by contacting them shortly after it's delivered.
Look at it from the POV of a real customer with a legitimate return -- Do you really believe that the average person is waiting even a single week after they return a product before contacting customer service? Nope.

You’re right, but i thought that more time passes, more it would be difficult for shop/courier to understand what happened
