My Introduction #1
Well, to be flat I barely consider myself even a script kiddie so yes i'm a n00b. Though I am working and learning alot, currently I am learning Python though i would like (if no one minds of course) a list of what programs i should :Smile:learn as a beginner and what order. Mainly because ive read so many things stating that you should get C++ or just C and others saying do C last and start with Python or PHP etc. etc. though I do have skills with HTML but thats about all my coding knowledge and it all comes from codeacademy (a course we took at school) but yea, my name is Kobey im 14 from ohio and thats about it really so good bye and thanks in advance for hope fully helping me in the future.

Sounds awesome that you're already into python! There's a full sub-forum for it! And yeah, getting into the whole C family right off the bat is a good idea. If you're looking for something really easy, I recommend batch.

Hello & welcome to the community Smile
Regarding which languages you want to learn,
I suggest PHP, Javascript, AJAX, MySQL if you are into web development.

And if you are working to write a computer application
I suggest C++,Java, Python, C & C#.

I don't know Python, but a lot of my programmer friends say its an easy , noob friendly language.
If you want that's a good language for starters.

Personal preference is to learn how to code C++
There is an excellent book by the creator of C++ "Bjarne Stroustrup" for beginners called Programming Principal & Practice that
introduce you to the tools of C++ , then there is an advanced book of how you can use those tools
called Programming Languages (if I'm not wrong). I find those two books very helpful to me. Smile
I'm too busy with Learning new things. Will check as much as I can.
