Mouse problem 01-25-2014, 11:50 PM

Ill have to keep this short, because Im visiting a few family members for the weekend, and won't have access to a desktop computer so Im sorry if this post seems a bit lq.
As of late Ive been having some issues with mice, and at this point its starting to get really annoying. Ive caught a few using traps, but I want to know if someone knows a better way to get rid off these things for good. I also try to keep food out of the open in the hope that they starve to death.
Any feedback is welcome.

Problem with mice is that they'll do their best to survive. Starving them is no easy task.
What I did for a family member was used a food trap, but used peanut butter. You also want to make sure they aren't making babies or the problem won't ever end. We got lucky and I stumbled on the "nest" of sorts. My cat took care of the rest. However frequently you see the mice, the more traps you want to use.

I don't even want to know what's in your apartment that they're festering off. And you wouldn't call someone because God knows what's lurking in your place.
Just let them live with you.

At my home, we almost always manage to get rid of mice by setting up a few traps, using lard or fat as bait.
If this does not help, I know there is some kind of poison you can buy in Norway. These help a lot if you set them close to places where you could see their activity. Good luck on getting rid of them.

Set up an empty paper towel roll on the edge of a table with about half or so sticking off of the table. Put peanut butter on the end of the tube in mid air and finally place a trash bin under the paper towel roll. This works super well because the mouse will run through the tube to get the peanut butter but then the tube will tip over into the trash. Also helpful if you don't like killing animals!
