@mothered, for the missing item method, does the return have to weigh as much as the original delivery?

You'd be claiming the Item Is missing when the package/box was opened, so you won't be returning anything - It's missing.
Perhaps you're referring to the wrong Item received?

I apologize, I'm referring to the partial missing item method, when the package is missing an item, but still contains other items within the package.

The partial method works by saying one or more Items were missing In the package containing x-amount of products. Those that were received, remain with you (It's your purchase), and you'd claim a refund/replacement on the missing Item(s).
