Yeah I must admit, even though there's fighting and guns etc. in the military, the general lifestyle you have sounds rather tempting.

Its amazing and to be honest that chances of dying in the military are low. Its a proven fact that people are killed in auto accidents more than in iraq. Also the Air Force is babied and the safest branch. Im not really concerned about dying or being deployed.

I just couldn't fly a plane or be in the air force.. I hate planes and heights. The navy sounds good though if I were to join any divisions.

Just because you join the Air Force doesn't mean your automatically going to be a pilot lol. Thats actually a very difficult job to get and you have to score high on the ASVAB. For example the job I'm trying to get is graphic artist. The navy is difficult to me because you'd have to be able to live on a ship for a while. That means you dont see land for weeks possibly months lol.

Travelling the seas would be great though, although I guess it would get damn boring after months. I've heard the marines are just there to get slaughtered so screw being a marine.

I wouldn't recommend the Marines or the Army. Those are the two toughest branches. Go with either the Air Force, Navy, or Coast Guard. Within those three branches you are able to travel as much as you would travel in any other branch.

Doing a bit of reading on the Air Force now, it actually sounds really good. I wouldn't mind it as long as I wouldn't have to be in the air haha.
