What's the precise weight of the Item?
Judging by Its description, It seems too heavy for the missing Item method.

I think it's Michael Kors directly. I was successful with them almost a year ago. The whole process took around a month to resolve and i even had DHL or UPS (can't remember which one) ringing my phone for more information.

Thanks for sharing your experience. No doubt It will benefit the OP.
Judging by what you've written, the DNA was used, yes?

I used the partial method. I wasn't expecting the courier to contact me but Michael Kors contacted them explaining the fabricated situation.

The partial method has no relevance to the carrier.
You're stating an Item (or more) was missing In the package, and provided there were no signs of tampering, It's directly related to the company.

Indeed, but MK stated that both items were sent and pointed the finger at the courier. They didn't provide proof that both items were sent after i asked them though. I told MK something along the lines of..
"To my knowledge the parcel didn't appear to have been tampered with".

MK cannot deem the carrier responsible without having evidence In support of their claim.
That Is, they'd need to justify why they believe the carrier Is at fault. If a damage report was raised at the carrier's depot, then yes, I'd understand the reasoning behind their actions. It was handled poorly by MK.

That's because they didn't have any record that the Items were picked, packed and dispatched correctly.
If they did, you would've received correspondence.

Nice work, particularly mentioning "to my knowledge".
That puts you In the clear.
