Max value Fragrance SE #1
Anyone have any information on what the max value that can be SE'd using the broken glass method? I bought the empty bottle for an expensive cologne about $700-900 bottle. Was curious if this SE would work or not?

Thanks, Gertz

Iv never heard of a $700 bottle fragrance, but any limit would depend company by company.
Broken bottle should would at any value because you are capable of returning the broken item and what are they going to say?

There's a bunch of super expensive fragrances the one I want is around $900. I was thinking of hitting Niemann Marcus with the broken bottle method I already have an empty bottle. Wondering if anyone's SE'd fragrances from Niemann Marcus.

Just an update for those interested. Fragrancenet.com was an instant refund with broken bottle method. I purchased an empty bottle of cologne for around $40 and purchased one from Fragrancenet $300 refund.

Sephora has worked pretty easily, they've never asked me to provide photos also

Nice, I'll definitely be trying them out. What kind of pictures did they ask for? I think it might be cheaper overall to use those Perfume SE Photo services if they weren't asking for anything crazy.

Just photos clearly showing the damaged bottle. Their customer service seems to be some low quality outsourced indian call center. They reviewed the photos on the spot and instantly refunded me.
