Hi just wondering is anyone has ever SE'd Maplin? (Shop in UK)

I really want a monitor from there (£250) and was wondering if it would be possible to get refunded and say the package never came/box was empty? Thanks

The Rutlands did a fairly large "regime scheme" on fraud when they bought the company, but from what I've heard; they're cooling down quite rapidly. Shouldn't be too difficult, the box might work. You might not get refunded, looking at the scheme, but you've got every chance at some goodwill ^^ Also, I'd go for something less...costly until you actually know how they react and all...

"Just"? A replacement is usually a jackpot; I'd wager some other sort of reimbursement Good decision ^^
