Is windows threat protection inaccurate at times? Because i had downloaded this and it said there were a bunch of trojans on it,

yes you need to run such thing in sandbox or virtual machine or in rdp . dont use your main pc . as these tools related to hacking/cracking/bots ...antivirus wont like such tools.

My speed has been the same since day one- only averaging around 5 Mbps.

That's on a standalone PC, and with no background tasks communicating on the net.
