Il work it out
Il swap the bottom of the glass where the batch nr is but I don't think they will require me to ship them the broken glass

successfully using FTID via UPS
it took almost 2 months to get my money back, LV said they had never received the parcel, they opened an inquiry with UPS, UPS ruled that the parcel had been delivered and signed for
I had to argue that the package had probably been stolen internally etc. and they finally refunded me

not really, try and pour 100ml of liquid inside of a box and you will see it makes obvious the package had leak. it is obvious when it is wet and even more after it has dried as the impact spreads.
More like try pour 100ml of alcohol in a box that is tightly wrapped in plastic which is then placed in another box which is then placed in the shipping box with lots of packaging surrounding it. But I get your point.
Never came across what you described, even for high value perfumes and from several different websites.
Usually the protective packaging was minimal. In reality perfume glass are very hard to break and takes tools or running over with your car.

Yeah I'm surprised it works to be honest. I've had to put bottles in bags and swing them at rocks as hard as I can and they still take a few attempts to break.
