Lost 1K with Amazon 03-20-2023, 05:35 PM
#1
I was ordering a PC with Amazon and DNA . Then I went through the customer service chat who requested for a PR. Which is totally expected and was about to do it.
But literally the next day I got an email telling me that my account is closed.
They basically say they close my account because I have too many refunds.
How should I make them reinstate my account, because there are no warning and it is amazon's policy to promise return without reasons.
And I am dealing with them about a DNA but they told me it is too many refund which is trying to change the subject?
Do I have my buyer's right for 14 days refund? Or should I do charge back?

Just write back to OFM email saying that you want to Return the PC. They should open the account for 48 hours and then you would get a Return label and ship it back to them.
I don't believe in what I say. Everything is just fictional and made for a good laugh.
I don't answer PM.

It is at least 4 years old and I refunded least 50% of my item as I thought it is Amazon's idea to let you try first and only keep the one you like. I previously wrongly heard that they don't care as long as they are profiting from your account. Obviously I am wrong...

I previously wrote to the account specialist back and forth about my lost of PC, should I say I find it with my neighbour and would like to return it?
They closed my account because I have returned too many and are they obligated to accept if I want to return again.
The account specialist is very dismissive to me, should I write directly to Jeff@
Amazon

Yeah, you just came with a story to get the PC returned. It doesn't matter of how much times you returned. You should still be able to return it. I don't think that Jeff gives a damm about your problems, as far as I know, writing bad things about Jeff, may result in getting no refund at all. So better just push the specialist, if you would be able to call them, the issue maybe would be resulted in a faster way.

Thanks for the feedback. Is there any ground that they have to accept my return, like the consumer law?
I called the Amazon Hub Counter and it is some low grade staffs who just forwarded my request to the account specialist. Is there any other way I can call them?

OFM is simply a death sentence for your account. They know what's going on and they will not refund you until you send the item back. You must write directly to the OFM department to request a new return label, just write that you already found this PC and your neighbors picked it up or something.

Thanks mate, I would totally do that but I am worried that they will refuse my refund, as they close my account due to the reason of too many refund.
Should I try with charge back with my bank first, as after I have told them I have found it, I cannot charge back anymore

No worries. They can't refuse you a refund if less than 30 days have passed since you received the item, these are the consumer rights on their site. I know what I'm talking about because I had the same situation with OFM. Just mail them and ask for a new return label, they have to send it to you. If you make it in time and send it up to and including the 30th day, they have to refund you. No charge back needed here.

Thanks mate, did you try to ask them to unblock your account for 2 days? Coz I sadly ordered a couple items together to make it looks more real and will it be awkward to ask them to give 6 shipping labels?

And what did you do after your account is closed? Did you try with new account or you completely avoid amazon now in your opinion.
