Looking for a us drop/reship #1
I finally managed to SE an Alienware monitor. The replacement order was shipped to a well known reshipping business in LA, USA. Then, while the monitor was in transit, I got an e-mail from Dell telling me that Fedex don’t deliver to reshipping businesses and the damn thing was rerouted back to Dell.

I replied back and asked why and they told me that Fedex dont deliver to the address I provided. I guess they know what this all about and now just follow protocol…

Anyway I told them that I have relatives in the US that are willing to accept the delivery of the monitor for me. Which I do, atleast that I have relatives in the US, but don’t know if they are willing….

Dell replied back and accepted my offer. They know want a new address to deliver to. Unknown to Dell is that this thing is later going to be reshipped to me. I live in The EU.

So what should I do? I could always ask my relatives but I know Dell rebills and I don’t want them to get into trouble.

Any ideas what to do here?

Is any one of your relatives willing to accept the delivery at a drop, and send It to you thereafter?

Im sure they are. But what happens after that? Who gets the rebill. Me, using a fake name and address with Dell or the receiver of the package? I will be using a fake name and a drop in my country.

The replacement has been Issued to the account holder (yourself), so It's he/she who will be rebilled- Irrespective of who accepts the delivery.

Dell has your details on record, and not the person receiving the goods.

This was very helpful. I live in India and most of the SE/Refund products are genearally serviced in the US or Ca. I might consider reshipping from us to in. But how much would it cost me for a monitor or a pc?

Get an invoice + service tag with AR. Do a warranty transfer to a fake name wth a fake address. Call them and tell them your monitor is broken and they will do some troubleshooting. After that they will offer you an advanced exchange and you got 10 days to return the old one. They will ask for the invoice, photos with a note with your case number and serial and service tag showing. Ask someone to Photoshop that for you or if you know what you are doing do it yourself. They use Fedex as their courier, atleast in the US. Fedex does not deliver to reshippers businessess and free services like Reship, Shipito or Planet Express where you can easily register under a fake name, pay with bitcoin and get a free US address.

My SE eventally failed because of two things. I used a fake name and Planet Express as my drop and my photoshopper fuckep up the photos. First time they asked for a photo and all was fine and they sent out the replacement and when Fedex was about to deliver the monitor they noticed it was a reshipping address, so they rerouted the montitor back to Dell. Dell replied back that they wanted a new picture and with a another address. So I tried a different reshipper and sent them another photo with a note. My photoshopper fucked it all upp and used two different photos of the monitor with different manufacture dates.

So Dell noticed the image was altered and denied my request. Atleast it was a learning experience... Btw, I used a US invoice and I live in the EU so they will only send out replacements in the same country as the monitor was originallly bought .
