Problem with most SE's I do is that I'm really "afraid" that they'll contact authorities and such because I tried to SE them. Thats why I mostly bail out if they start questioning me and ask me question that I would only know if i have the product right in front of me. Any advice on that?

It sounds like you need to build up your confidence.

This will happen naturally with experience. Once you've successfully SEd quite a few companies, SEing will become second nature.

Alright and what's the worst that can happen if they find out I don't actually own the item?

It depends on the Item, It's value and whether they wish to pursue It.

The point of SEing, Is not to land yourself In that scenario.
