recently I have done a Logitech SE on a Logitech G533 headset, i have this headset in my possession and am attempting to get another for my friend, i have said the battery has leaked therefore unusable, they have now asked for photos of the disabled product this is what they have said:
Good day! Thanks for sending all the information needed. We have validated them and I am glad to tell you that we can now proceed to replacement. In order to process your warranty replacement, we must ask that you provide pictures of your product having safely been rendered non-reusable. Once we have received the pictures we will review and if confirmed the product has been safely been rendered non-reusable, we will proceed with processing your warranty replacement.
Your warranty request has been pre-approved and as such the replacement has been placed on hold.
Before the replacement product will be released for processing and shipping, we request that you permanently disable your current product in a safe manner. Once this has been done we would kindly request that you supply proof of this by taking photographs of the complete, disabled product from three different angles, one of these pictures should clearly show the product details such as PID/SN, and include a handwritten note with your case number in each of the photos.
You must keep the disabled product in your possession until you have received the replacement product, unless otherwise notified.
Recommendations (depending on the product involved):
(1) Disconnect all cables from the product and/or any other sources they might be connected to.
(2) Check for alternative power sources, such as a battery, If present please remove it.
(3) Cut all cables belonging to the product.
(4) Disable the product and the internal chips in a safe manner that clearly shows in the photo the product can no longer function.
All photos should be sent in the original, unedited format. Pictures sent in that have been edited will be scrutinised and this may lead to either a rejection of your claim or an extension of handling time. As such, we highly recommend using the original JPEG or JPG file from the camera. ,
I have the product on me so can take photos, but of course its not actually leaking battery acid, how should I go about this?
All help appreciated thank you!
