List of SE terms & definitions (for beginners) #1
If you just got into the SE scene then chances are there are many terms that are new to you.

I wrote a small list of terms and definitions commonly used in SEing.
I will add more later since I'm sure I forgot a few.

Happy learning  Heart

SE (Social engineering): the art of getting free products by exploiting a company's goodwill/warranty policy (without necessarily owning the actual product in question). You have to convince them that your item is faulty so they can send you a new one.
S/N (Serial number): each individual product manufactured by a company has a unique serial number in order to identify it and distinguish it from the others.
POP (Proof of purchase): this is basically an invoice or a receipt. The company you're SEing wants to confirm you truly bought a product and are not trying to scam them.
POD (Proof of destruction): sometimes a company will ask you to destroy your product to make sure you're not scamming them. They will ask you to send them specific pictures or videos of the destroyed item from different angles.
PS guy (Photoshopping guy): since most of the time you won't own the actual product you SE, you will need to pay a guy to do some photoshopping for you in order to fool the company.
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization): when you convince a company that your item is faulty, sometimes they will ask you to send it back. The RMA is basically a number associated to your return request.
AR (Advanced replacement): sometimes a company will offer AR, meaning they will send you a new replacement item before they receive the original defect product.
Boxing: is sending random stuff (old books, dry ice, nothing) to the company and make them believe you sent the defective product back.
Rebilling: often, if you don't box a company who sent you an AR, they will send you a bill to pay for the new product they sent you.
Drop: is an address that is not associated to you. It can be an abandoned house, your neighbors, a house for sale, etc. People use drops to stay anonymous from the company they SE, while still receiving the replacement product.
Reship: is a company that will forward your shipment to you. So they are the middleman (courier) who will receive the product from the company you SE'd, and then deliver it to your drop/addy
Addy: your personal address
OpSec (Operation security): what you do on the Internet can be traced. OpSec refers to the procedure you should follow in order to stay anonymous on the Internet.

This Is certainly a beneficial list for those new to the art of exploiting the human firewall.

Also, very well defined.
Good work.
