What you want is that two elements, which have the same id but different actions.
I can't understand how that would be possible.
If you don't want to use ID, try Class. Although i think that wasn't the solution you were looking for.

i dunno, maybe there is a way... but that to me is like asking someone to paint your car blue and red at the same time.

if they have the same id, how is the browser expected to determine which code in the block YOU want executed?? it cant tell just from that, what it is you want. as far as the browser is concerned, it executes the entire block of code when that id is called.
