Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @

That's what I was thinking, unfortunately. Any ideas on how to get out of it? thank you.
If anyone else has ideas to keep moving forward with it, would love to hear. I won't be doing anything with the case for a couple more days.

Just end communication and avoid for the next while, you don't want this moving forward and internal investigations going on.

Quote:Should I keep following through with this or give it up? I don't like getting involved with police and I of course don't want any legal problems. I don't know if the document is legally binding
An affidavit Is a legally binding document.
It may only be required to move forward with your claim, but I always suggest not to sign It.
Ultimately, It's your call.

One of the best advice you've given me. I think I've signed 2 in my life and both times I watched the people steal my shit
