I've downloaded It, and the majority are detected as false positives. Of course, always run tools of this nature In a controlled environment.

What actually is a false positive? I've seen them mentioned before but don't actually know what they are.

A simple example, Is when a signature In the code (of the tool), Is also In the AV's database definitions marked as malicious.
When It's scanned, It's deemed as such (a virus) when due to the nature of the tool, It's not- hence "false positive" detection.
