We started going out in grade 8, if I remember right, and it lasted around a year. I think it was closer to three years ago, though.

I'd wish (I do anyway) that I had treated my first girlfriend better. Not that I wasn't good to her, but we were both a little fucked up at the time we started dating, and there are definitely things I could've done differently to delay or avoid our breakup (it was mutual, I'm not that clingy).

We still talk occasionally, but neither of us are interested in dating at all (afaik) for at least a few years, and even if we were I doubt we'd get back together. I realize this all sounds pretty stupid, but after three (maybe four?) years, I still feel like there was something special there that I've yet to see again, and I feel like an idiot for not doing better to maintain it.

Feels man. Basically my same experience. She left for a while because I decided it was up to her whether to go for a year or not, and she waited too long and ended up being forced to. A lot of stuff we did we didn't get along with and I honestly tried one-upping her continuously.

So yeah, I would wish for a chance to do that over too.. (1)

It's nice to see someone not afraid to actually say stuff like this. FYI, you're allowed to be human when posting on the internet. And so what if you're young? You're only going to be young for a few years and things will always feel more intense and special at that age. Some of the most important lessons learned for relationships are in the years of teenagehood. You'll know to do better next time!

I'd probably choose to be able to learn forever and have access to all online knowledge...
But that's kinda cheap cause I wouldn't really die then.

I would only have two wishes.

First, I want to be doped up when I die so I need somebody to go out and buy me the strongest Heroin they can get ahold of. I'll fall asleep and die painlessly.

Two, I would like to be cremated and my ashes spread at my favorite hangout spot of my childhood -- The West End Overlook in Pittsburgh, PA. Preferably at night, the view is much better at night.
