LIT fraud #1
Hello I did LIT on one medium size store in Germany (I don't live in Germany, but they shipped to my county). There was an investigation with DHL company I did LIT - returned it to them. I received an email from store - DHL told us that it might be possible fraud - we are reporting this fraud to the police and wait for the investigation by the public prosecutor's office. A charge of attempted fraud under § 263 et seq. StGB has been filed with the police.

Should I be worried? As like I alread said I am not even from Germany and LIT label was performed correctly.

Oh wow, I've never heard of the LIT method, I had to give it a search. I'm assuming it's worse than the FTID method if this is their reaction.

Did you use your home address and real name or phone number?

For delivery address my real details, for LIT fake details from GERMANY to even get the label as I don't live there.

Explain that to me. So the original item was delivered to you, and you sent a package with a label (coming from Germany?) to them. How did they determine this lost package is fraudulent? Maybe I'm just not understanding the method

LIT = lost in transit - return. Yes boxer from DE sucesfully shipped it and somehow after investigation they figured out that this might be potentional fraud and in my first message I mentioned what they said me in the email.

I am asking if I should be worried of outcome on this if they passed this to public prosecutor's office and if charge of attempted fraud under § 263 et seq. StGB has been filed with the police?

There has to exist something how I can get out with it. That's why looking for someone who might help Smile

highly possible it's a scare tactic, but yeah if the package was successfully lost they don't have evidence, I wouldn't worry too much

Don't you know what happens with LIT label? Last scan says: The shipment has been taken from the PACKSTATION for onward transportation.

If DHL found it that it is basicly TRASH they thrown it away? If yes then I should not be worried about this.. but they are maybe collecting such a labels for some fraud deparment? Second thing is that this shitty company/store investigated this with DHL for more then 3 months without single update, suddenly they come up with this today.

Small order 800-1200€ only (don't want to give exact texts from emails, values for my own safety), in my opinion they just want to scare me because I was so mad at the support ignoring my emails for 3 months today and straight away after 1. email I sent today asking for update - they didn't have update from DLH after 3 months so after this I sent them right back an aggressive email and they contacted me in 30 minutes, that DHL told them that it is fraud and blah blah blah.

No worries, share what you feel comfortable with. Remember we don't know the company, giving us the value would mean nothing.
Yeah I think you're fine.
